Walking
If you are already in Vatican City and want to reach the Vatican Museums, exit the Vatican Pinacoteca and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. As you walk, keep the Vatican walls on your left. Follow the signs indicating 'Musei Vaticani'. You will soon see a large plaza and the entrance to the museums will be directly ahead. Make sure to have your tickets ready for a smooth entry.
Public Transport
If you are starting from the main public transport hubs like Ottaviano Metro Station, take the Metro Line A towards Anagnina. Get off at the Ottaviano stop. From there, exit the station and walk along Via Ottaviano towards the Vatican. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Vatican Museums. It is about a 10-minute walk.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer to take a taxi or a ride-sharing service, simply request a ride to 'Vatican Museums'. The driver will know the way. If you are in a different area of Vatican City, just ask to be dropped off at the entrance of the Vatican Museums, which is well-known and easy to access.
