Car
From Burlington, VT, take I-89 N towards Montpelier. Continue for approximately 30 miles, then take exit 17 for US-2 W towards South Hero/North Hero. Follow US-2 W for about 12 miles, crossing the bridge onto Grand Isle. Continue straight to stay on US-2 W, then turn left onto Knight Island Road. After a short drive, you will see signs for Knight Island State Park. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared for a small cost upon entry.
Public Transportation
Take a Greyhound or Vermont Translines bus to South Hero. From the bus station, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Knight Island State Park, as public transportation options may be limited. The taxi ride from South Hero to the park will be approximately 10 minutes and could cost around $15 to $20.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can bike from Burlington to Knight Island State Park. Follow the same route as the car guidance, taking US-2 W.
