Merge onto VT-100 N and follow the signs for Wilmington. After about 8 miles, turn right onto State Forest Rd. The Scott Covered Bridge will be on your left at 3049 State Forest Rd, Townshend, VT 05353. There is no parking fee.

Once you arrive in Townshend, you will have to walk about 1.5 miles to get to Scott Covered Bridge. Head north on VT-30 and then turn left onto State Forest Rd. The bridge is located at 3049 State Forest Rd. Please be aware of the walking distance and check local transport costs.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bennington. Start by heading northeast on Main St toward North St, then take VT-9 E. After approximately 12 miles, merge onto VT-100 N. Continue for another 8 miles before turning right onto State Forest Rd. The bridge is about 2 miles down the road on your left. Make sure to bring water and snacks for the ride.
