Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Bennington battle monument located at 15 Monument Circle, Bennington, VT 05201. From there, head east on Monument Circle towards Main St. and turn right onto Main St. Continue walking straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with North St. Turn left onto North St and walk for about 0.3 miles. Once you reach the intersection with River Rd, turn right onto River Rd. Continue walking on River Rd for approximately 1.5 miles. The Henry Covered Bridge will be on your left at 475 River Rd, North Bennington, VT 05257.

• Bicycling

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Bennington Museum located at 75 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201. Head south on Main St for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with North St. Turn left onto North St and continue for 0.7 miles. Turn right onto River Rd and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. The Henry Covered Bridge will be on your left at 475 River Rd, North Bennington, VT 05257.

• Public Transport

  Take the Green Mountain Express bus from the Bennington Station (located at 300 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201). Board the bus heading towards North Bennington. Get off at the North Bennington stop. From there, you can walk along River Rd for about 0.5 miles towards the Henry Covered Bridge, which will be on your left at 475 River Rd, North Bennington, VT 05257.
