Bus
From the center of Bennington, walk to the Bennington Bus Stop located at 215 South St. Take the Green Mountain Express bus heading towards Stratton Mountain Resort. The bus will take you directly to the resort, which is approximately an hour away. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times.
Walking
Starting at the Bennington Museum, head east on Main St toward South St. Turn right onto South St and continue straight until you reach the intersection with VT-9. Cross VT-9 and continue walking north on VT-30. After about a mile, you will reach the junction with Stratton Mountain Rd. Follow Stratton Mountain Rd for about 5 miles until you arrive at the Stratton Mountain Resort. Please note that walking this distance may take around 2 hours.
Bicycle
If you're cycling from Bennington, start at the Bennington Recreation Center. Head north on the bike path towards South St. Once you reach South St, turn left and follow it until you reach VT-9. Turn right onto VT-30 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Then, take a right onto Stratton Mountain Rd and follow it for about 5 more miles until you reach Stratton Mountain Resort. This route will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on your cycling speed.
