If you are starting from downtown Brattleboro, head east on Main Street. Walk until you reach the intersection with High Street and turn left. Continue walking on High Street until you reach the end, where it intersects with Putney Road (VT-5). Cross Putney Road and follow the signs for the Retreat Farm, which is about a mile from this point. At the base of the Retreat Farm, you will find the entrance to the trail that leads to Retreat Tower. Follow the marked trail up to the tower.
