After about 7 miles, turn left onto VT-5 S and follow it for about 4 miles. Then, turn right onto VT-16 W. Continue on VT-16 W for approximately 10 miles until you reach Westmore. Once in Westmore, look for signs leading to Lake Willoughby. The lake is located just off VT-16, and there are several parking areas available along the lakeshore.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from St. Johnsbury to Westmore. Check with local services like the Green Mountain Transit Agency for schedules and routes. Once you arrive in Westmore, you may need to walk or use a rideshare service to reach Lake Willoughby, as public transit does not go directly to the lake.
