Getting There

Car

From anywhere in Caledonia County, head southwest on US Route 5 towards St. Johnsbury. Continue on US Route 5 for about 15 miles until you reach the I-91 interchange. Merge onto I-91 South and continue for approximately 18 miles. Take exit 28 for US-4 toward Fair Haven/Ticonderoga. Merge onto US-4 E and continue for about 18 miles until you reach the junction with NY-22. Turn left onto NY-22 N and follow for about 11 miles. Continue on NY-22 until you reach Ticonderoga. Once in Ticonderoga, turn left onto Fort Ti Rd, and you will arrive at Fort Ticonderoga, located at 102 Fort Ti Rd, Ticonderoga, NY 12883. Please note that there may be tolls if you choose to take I-87 (Northway) instead.
Public Transportation

While Caledonia County has limited public transportation options, you can take a Greyhound or a local bus to reach nearby towns. First, take a bus from St. Johnsbury to the Rutland area. You may need to transfer buses at Rutland to continue to Ticonderoga. Once in Ticonderoga, you can use local taxis or rideshare services to reach Fort Ticonderoga at 102 Fort Ti Rd. Be sure to check the schedules for both Greyhound and local bus services as they can vary.
Bicycle

If you are feeling adventurous and want to bike to Fort Ticonderoga, start in St. Johnsbury and take the scenic backroads. Follow the East Side Road (VT-2A) south, connecting to US Route 5.
