If you're traveling by car, start from the center of St. Johnsbury, VT. Take I-91 South towards Newbury. Exit at 16 for US-5 N towards Barnet. Continue on US-5 N for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with VT-114. Turn left onto VT-114 N and continue for about 8 miles. You will pass through the town of Sutton. Follow the signs for Willoughby State Forest. The entrance is located at the end of a small road off VT-114.
