Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Stowe, VT. Head south on Main Street towards Route 108. Turn left onto Route 108 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Notchbrook Road and follow it for about 1 mile. Foster's Hole will be located at 334-110 Notchbrook Rd, Stowe, VT 05672. Look for parking along the road as indicated.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Stowe. The nearest bus stop is located near the Stowe Village. You will need to transfer buses at the Stowe Shuttle Stop. From there, take the bus towards Notchbrook Road. Get off at the stop closest to Notchbrook Road and walk about 0.5 miles to reach Foster's Hole at 334-110 Notchbrook Rd, Stowe, VT 05672. Note that bus schedules may vary, so check the current timetable in advance.

• Bicycling

  If you prefer to bicycle, rent a bike in Stowe and head south on Main Street. Follow the same route as cars towards Route 108. Once you reach Notchbrook Road, turn right and continue for about 1 mile. There may be limited bike lanes, so be cautious of traffic. Parking for bikes may be available at Foster's Hole.

  If you are staying nearby and wish to walk, start from central Stowe. Walk south on Main Street, then turn left onto Route 108. Continue on foot for about 5 miles until you reach Notchbrook Road. Turn right and walk approximately 1 mile until you arrive at Foster's Hole located at 334-110 Notchbrook Rd, Stowe, VT 05672. This is a scenic route, so be sure to enjoy the views along the way.
