If you're traveling by car, from the main entrance of Emerald Lake State Park, head south on Lake Road for approximately 0.5 miles. At the fork, keep left to stay on Lake Road. Continue for another 1 mile until you reach the parking area for Emerald Lake, which will be on your right. There are no parking fees at the park.

If you prefer public transportation, you will need to first get to the nearest bus station in Manchester, VT. From there, take the Green Mountain Express bus service towards Dorset. Get off at the Dorset Village stop. From the bus stop, it is about a 2-mile walk to Emerald Lake State Park. Head south on Route 30 for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Lake Road and follow it for another 1.5 miles until you reach the park entrance.
