Car
If you're driving from central Grand Isle County, head southeast on US-2 E towards South Hero. Continue on US-2 E, crossing the bridge to South Hero, then follow signs for US-2 E to Grand Isle. After approximately 10 miles, merge onto I-87 N towards Plattsburgh. Continue on I-87 N for about 25 miles. Take exit 34 for NY-9 towards Ausable Chasm. Turn right onto NY-9 and continue for about 2 miles. Ausable Chasm will be on your left at 2144 US-9.

Take a Vermont Public Transportation bus from Grand Isle County to Burlington. From Burlington, take a Greyhound or Trailways bus towards Plattsburgh, NY. Once in Plattsburgh, you can take a local taxi service or rideshare to reach Ausable Chasm at 2144 US-9, which is approximately 15 miles away.

For the adventurous, biking from the center of Grand Isle County is an option. Head southeast on US-2 E towards South Hero. Follow the same route as drivers until you reach the intersection with I-87 N. You can bike along NY-9 heading south towards Ausable Chasm.
