Continue on Route 22A for approximately 10 miles. When you reach the intersection with Mount Independence Road, turn right. Follow Mount Independence Road for about 2 miles, and you will find the entrance to Mount Independence on your left. There is no entry fee, and ample parking is available.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Greyhound or Vermont Translines bus service to the nearest bus station, which is located in Middlebury, VT. From Middlebury, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining 14 miles to Mount Independence. Once you arrive at Mount Independence, you will find parking available, and the site is open for exploration.
Bicycle

It's approximately a 12-mile ride, so ensure you have adequate water and snacks. The road is relatively flat, making it a pleasant ride. Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules. Once you reach Mount Independence, there are bike racks available for parking.
