Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on US-7 S from your current location in Lake Champlain. Continue on US-7 S for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit toward Shelburne Road (VT-7) and merge onto Shelburne Road. Continue for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Shelburnewood Drive. The Shelburne Village Historic District will be located at 28-204 Shelburnewood Dr, Shelburne, VT 05482. There is no parking fee on-site.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for Green Mountain Transit (GMT) which operates in the Lake Champlain area. Board the bus that heads toward Shelburne; you may need to transfer at Burlington (the major nearby city). Once you arrive in Shelburne, disembark at the nearest stop to Shelburnewood Drive. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk (approximately 0.7 miles) to the Shelburne Village Historic District. Note that bus fares are typically around $1.50 per ride.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can take the scenic route along the Lake Champlain Bikeway. Start at the bike path near the waterfront and follow the designated bike routes toward Shelburne.
