Once in North Hero, follow signs to Knight Island State Park, which is located on the island. Note that you will need to take a ferry to access the park. The nearest ferry terminal is the North Hero Ferry, located at 44.8183° N, 73.2545° W. Ferry rides are free but check the ferry schedule in advance for operating hours.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus to Burlington, VT. From Burlington, you will need to take a local bus to get to North Hero. However, public transport options may be limited, so it's advisable to check the current bus schedules. Once you arrive in North Hero, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the North Hero Ferry terminal, as public transport does not directly service the ferry.
