Car
From any location in Lamoille County, head south on VT-100 S or VT-15 E towards the town of Johnson. Continue on VT-100 S until you reach the intersection with VT-2A. Turn left onto VT-2A S and follow this road until you reach Vergennes. Once in Vergennes, take a right onto Button Bay State Park Rd. The park entrance will be on your left. Note that there may be a parking fee, typically around $4 for a day pass.

You may need to take a bus to Burlington first, and then transfer to a bus heading to Vergennes. Upon arriving in Vergennes, you can either walk (approximately 2 miles) to Button Bay State Park or arrange for a local taxi service to take you directly to the park.
