Start at the center of Stowe Village near the Stowe Community Church. Head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 100. Turn left onto Route 100 and continue walking for about 7 miles. You will pass through beautiful Vermont landscape and small local shops along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Montgomery. Once you reach Montgomery, you can walk towards the Green Mountains which will be clearly visible.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stowe. Begin your journey at the Stowe Recreation Path entrance near the Stowe Village. Cycle on the path heading north for approximately 6 miles until you reach Route 100. At Route 100, turn left and continue cycling for about another mile until you enter Montgomery. Follow the road signs leading to the Green Mountains, which will be a prominent sight on your left.
