    Getting There

    Car

    From Stowe, VT, head south on VT-100 for about 15 miles until you reach the junction with US-2. Turn right onto US-2 East and continue for approximately 10 miles. In Plainfield, turn left onto VT-14 North. After about 3 miles, you will see signs for Groton State Forest on your right. Follow the signs to the park entrance.

    Car

    If you are coming from Morrisville, take VT-15 East for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-2. Turn right onto US-2 East and travel for around 6 miles. In Plainfield, turn left onto VT-14 North. After about 3 miles, Groton State Forest will be on your right.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Morrisville to Montpelier. From Montpelier, transfer to a bus that goes to Plainfield. Once you reach Plainfield, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining 3 miles to Groton State Forest as public transport may not directly serve the park.

    Car

    From Waterbury, take I-89 North to Exit 10 for US-2 toward Montpelier. Continue on US-2 for about 12 miles. In Plainfield, turn left onto VT-14 North and drive for about 3 miles until you see the entrance to Groton State Forest on your right.
