Getting There

Car
From the Smugglers' Notch State Park entrance, head south on Vermont Route 108. Continue on Route 108 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Vermont Route 15. Turn left onto Route 15 and follow it for about 5 miles. You will see signs for Mount Mansfield State Forest. Follow the signs and park at the Mount Mansfield parking area, which is located at the base of the mountain. Note that there is a parking fee of $5 for the day.

Begin at the Smugglers' Notch State Park visitor center. Take the Green Mountain Transit bus towards Stowe. After approximately a 20-minute ride, disembark at the Stowe Village stop.
