Car
From any location in Lamoille County, take VT-15 E towards Richmond. After approximately 15 miles, take the exit for I-89 S toward White River Junction. Continue on I-89 S for about 4 miles, then take exit 12 for US-7 S toward Vergennes. Follow US-7 S for about 10 miles until you reach Charlotte. Turn left onto Mt Philo Road and follow it for about 2 miles. The entrance to Mt. Philo State Park will be on your right at 5425 Mt Philo Rd, Charlotte, VT 05445. Note that there is a $4 per adult entry fee for all-day access.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Burlington, VT, which is the nearest major city. From Burlington, you can catch a local bus (Green Mountain Transit) to Charlotte. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Charlotte, you can either call a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to get to Mt. Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can bike from Lamoille County following the same route mentioned for cars, but be prepared for some hilly terrain as you approach Mt. Philo. Make sure your bike is in good condition and that you wear a helmet. The ride could take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. There are bike racks available at the park entrance.
