Getting There

Walking
From the center of Middlebury, head southeast on Main Street (VT-125) towards South Pleasant Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Middlebury College campus. Turn left onto College Street (VT-30) and follow it for about 1 mile. You will pass through a residential area and then enter a more rural setting. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Waitsfield. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with VT-100. Turn right onto VT-100 North and continue for approximately 10 miles. This road will take you through beautiful Vermont countryside and small towns. As you approach Waitsfield, look for the signs for Schuss Pass. Turn left onto Schuss Pass and follow the road until you reach Mad River Glen Cooperative at 57 Schuss Pass.

Public Transport
From the center of Middlebury, walk to the Middlebury Town Green and catch the Green Mountain Transit bus heading towards Waitsfield. The bus stop is located at the corner of Main St. and Merchant's Row. The ride to Waitsfield will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Waitsfield, disembark at the Waitsfield Town Hall stop. From there, head east on Bridge Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with VT-100. Turn left onto VT-100 North and walk about 0.5 miles. Look for Schuss Pass on your right. Turn right onto Schuss Pass and continue until you reach Mad River Glen Cooperative at 57 Schuss Pass.
