From Molly Falls State Park, head south on the access road towards Vermont Route 2. Turn left onto VT-2 East. Continue on VT-2 for approximately 8 miles until you reach the junction with US-2 in Plainfield. Turn right onto US-2 South. After about 2 miles, you will see signs for Lr Jones State Forest. Turn left onto the access road leading into the forest. There is no entry fee to access the state forest.

Once you arrive in Plainfield, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Lr Jones State Forest. Head south on Main St, then turn right onto US-2 South.
