From any point within Molly Falls State Park, head towards the main exit and turn left onto Route 5 North. Continue on Route 5 for approximately 4 miles until you reach St. Johnsbury. Turn right onto Bay Street (you will see signs for the Trailhead Pavilion). The Trailhead Pavilion of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Extension will be on your left at 195 Bay St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819. There is no parking fee at the pavilion.

If you are using public transportation, you will need to first take a local bus or a rideshare service from Molly Falls State Park to St. Johnsbury. The nearest bus stop is located at the intersection of Route 5 and Route 2. Once in St. Johnsbury, you can either take a short taxi ride or walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Trailhead Pavilion at 195 Bay St. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for timings. Note that rideshare services may incur additional costs.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can bike from Molly Falls State Park to the Trailhead Pavilion. Exit the park and head south on the paved paths that connect to Route 5. The Trailhead Pavilion will be on your left at 195 Bay St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819. Please ensure you wear a helmet and follow local biking laws.
