If you're starting from downtown Montpelier, head east on State Street. As you walk, you will pass various shops and cafes. Continue straight for about 0.4 miles. The Vermont State House will be on your left at 115 State St. Look for the distinctive golden dome.

If you're near the Montpelier Transit Center, take the Green Mountain Transit bus heading towards the State House. The ride is approximately 5 minutes. Disembark at the State House stop, which is right in front of the Vermont State House at 115 State St.
