Bus
From downtown Montpelier, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main Street and State Street. Catch the Green Mountain Transit bus heading towards Jeffersonville. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Jeffersonville, walk approximately 0.5 miles north on VT-108 until you reach Smugglers' Notch Resort at 4323 VT-108.
Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Montpelier. Head north on Main Street, then take a right on State Street to connect to the bike path that leads out of the city. Follow the bike path as it merges into VT-108. Continue on VT-108 for about 10 miles until you reach Smugglers' Notch Resort. Be sure to follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk from Montpelier to Jeffersonville. Start at the State House on State Street and head north on Main Street. Follow the signs for VT-108, which will lead you out of town. The total distance is about 10 miles, so prepare for a long trek. Make sure to bring water and snacks for the journey.
