Car
From Mount Equinox, head south on VT-7A toward Manchester Center. Continue on VT-7A for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Lye Brook Falls Trail. Turn left onto Lye Brook Falls Trail and follow it for about 1.5 miles. The parking area for Lye Brook Falls will be on your right. Parking is free.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Manchester Link bus service (if available) to Manchester Center. From the bus stop, you'll need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to the trailhead. Head south on Main Street, then turn left onto VT-7A, and follow it until you reach Lye Brook Falls Trail. Turn left onto Lye Brook Falls Trail and continue for about 1.5 miles to reach the falls. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times.
Hiking
Once you've parked your car at the Lye Brook Falls parking area, the trailhead is marked. The hike to Lye Brook Falls is approximately 0.5 miles one way. Follow the marked trail, which will lead you through a beautiful forested area. The trail is generally well-maintained but may have some uneven terrain. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water. The falls are a stunning sight, especially in the spring and after heavy rains.
