From any location in Mount Equinox, head towards Route 7A. Take a right onto Route 7A North and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Rootville Road (you will see signs for Prospect Rock Trail). Follow Rootville Road for about 1 mile, and you will find the Prospect Rock Trail parking area on your left. There are no parking fees.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking the Green Mountain Express bus to Manchester Center. From the bus stop, it is about a 2-mile walk to the trailhead. Head north on Main Street, then take a right onto Route 7A North. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Rootville Road and continue for about 1 mile until you reach the Prospect Rock Trail parking area. Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Manchester Center. From the center, head north on Main Street, then turn onto Route 7A North.
