From anywhere in Orleans County, head south on US Route 5 towards the town of Barton. Continue on US Route 5 until you reach the intersection with VT Route 16. Turn left onto VT Route 16 and continue until you reach the town of Hardwick. In Hardwick, take a right onto VT Route 14 South. Follow VT Route 14 South until you reach Barre. Once in Barre, look for Washington Street and turn left. The Vermont Historical Society will be on your left at 60 Washington St, Barre, VT 05641. Parking is available along the street or in nearby lots, which may incur a small fee depending on the time and location.
