Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown Rutland, head to the Rutland Transit Center located at 1 Center Street. Board the Green Mountain Transit bus heading towards Middlebury. The trip will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Woodchuck Cider, which is at 1321 Exchange St in Middlebury. After getting off the bus, walk about 5 minutes northeast on Exchange Street to reach your destination.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Rutland. Start your journey by heading southwest on Center Street toward West Street. Continue on West Street until it turns into Route 7. Follow Route 7 south for about 12 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. When you reach Middlebury, turn right onto Exchange Street. Woodchuck Cider will be on your left at 1321 Exchange Street.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, start at the Rutland Town Green located at 30 West Street. Head south on West Street until you reach the intersection with Route 7. Cross Route 7 and follow the sidewalk heading south towards Middlebury, a distance of about 12 miles. This will take approximately 4 hours, so ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated. Once you arrive in Middlebury, turn right onto Exchange Street, and Woodchuck Cider will be on your left at 1321 Exchange Street.
