Car
If you're driving from the Stowe Mountain Resort base area, start by heading south on Mountain Rd (VT-108 S). Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with the Stowe Recreation Path. Turn right onto the Recreation Path and follow it for approximately 1 mile. Look for the signs directing you to Cliff Trail. There is limited parking available at the trailhead, so arrive early to secure a spot. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, so check for signage regarding costs.
Public Transportation
To reach Cliff Trail via public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from the Stowe Village area to the Stowe Mountain Resort stop. Buses run regularly, but check the schedule for specific times. Once you arrive at the Stowe Mountain Resort stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to the Cliff Trailhead. Follow signs towards the Recreation Path and the Cliff Trail, ensuring you stay on the designated walking paths. Be aware that the bus fare is typically around $2 per person, so have cash ready.
Walking
If you are already within the Stowe Mountain Resort area, you can reach Cliff Trail by walking. Start from the main lodge and head towards the Recreation Path.
