Experience Morse Mountain

Getting There

  • Car

    From Stowe Mountain Resort, head southwest on Mountain Road (Route 108) towards Stowe Village. Continue on Route 108 for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 100. Turn left onto Route 100 South and continue for about 3 miles. You will see signs for the Long Trail. Turn onto Long Trail, and follow it for about 1 mile. The Morse Mountain parking area will be on your left. Note: Parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a space.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Stowe Mountain Resort to Stowe Village. The bus runs several times a day, and you can check the schedule at the Green Mountain Transit website. Once in Stowe Village, transfer to the Route 100 bus heading south towards Morristown. After about a 15-minute ride, get off at the Long Trail stop. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to the Morse Mountain trailhead. Be mindful of the bus schedules as they may vary seasonally.

    For the adventurous, consider biking from Stowe Mountain Resort to Morse Mountain. You can rent a bike in Stowe Village if you don't have one. Start by heading down Mountain Road (Route 108) towards Stowe Village. Once in the village, take Route 100 South. The last stretch on Long Trail may be a bit rough, so a mountain bike is recommended.
