    If you are traveling by car, start from the Stowe Mountain Resort. Head south on Mountain Road (VT-108 S) for about 2 miles. You will pass by several scenic spots and local shops. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you toward Stowe Village. After approximately 2 miles, you will see Field Guide Lodge on your left at 433 Mountain Rd. There is free parking available on-site.

    To reach Field Guide Lodge using public transportation, first head to the nearest bus stop on Mountain Road where the Green Mountain Transit operates. Board the bus heading towards Stowe Village. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately $1.50. Request a stop at the Field Guide Lodge, which is located at 433 Mountain Rd. Please check the current bus schedule in advance to plan your trip accordingly.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Stowe Village, you can walk to Field Guide Lodge. Start at the center of Stowe Village and head north on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach Mountain Road (VT-108 N). Turn left onto Mountain Road and walk for about 1.5 miles. Field Guide Lodge will be on your right at 433 Mountain Rd. This walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding area and takes approximately 30 minutes.
