If you are in the center of Stowe, start at the Stowe Village Historic District. Head northeast on Main Street toward Maple Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Mountain Road (VT-108). Turn left onto Mountain Road and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will see the bridge on your right, just before you reach the intersection with Stowe Hollow Road. The Giles W. Dewey Memorial Bridge is easily visible from the roadside.

Begin your bike ride from the Stowe Recreation Path, which starts near the Stowe Community Church. Ride northwest on the path, following the signs until you reach the junction with the Mountain Road (VT-108). Turn left onto Mountain Road and continue for about 0.3 miles. The Giles W. Dewey Memorial Bridge will be on your right. This route is scenic and enjoyable, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
