Car
From Sugarbush Resort, start by heading southeast on Sugarbush Access Rd toward VT-100. Turn left onto VT-100 S and continue for about 7 miles. At the intersection with Main St, turn right onto Main St in Waitsfield. Follow Main St which becomes Bridge St, then continue onto VT-17 E. After approximately 8 miles, turn left onto the Bristol Cliffs Wilderness access road. Look for parking areas nearby.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited, you can take the Mad Bus from Sugarbush Resort to Waitsfield. Be sure to check the Mad Bus schedule for the latest departure times. From Waitsfield, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Bristol Cliffs Wilderness, which is about 8 miles away.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking is a great option. Rent a bike at Sugarbush Resort and head southeast on Sugarbush Access Rd toward VT-100. Continue on VT-100 S for about 7 miles, then take a right onto Main St in Waitsfield. Follow Main St until it turns into VT-17 E, and then bike for about 8 miles to Bristol Cliffs Wilderness. Be prepared for some elevation changes along the route.
