Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Sugarbush Resort, start on Sugarbush Access Road and head south. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Route 100 South. Continue for approximately 6 miles. When you reach Waitsfield, look for Harris Hill Road on your right. Turn onto Harris Hill Road and continue for about 1 mile. The Mad River Path Millbrook Trailhead will be on your left at 485 Harris Hill #539, Waitsfield, VT 05673. There is no parking fee at the trailhead.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Mad River Path Millbrook Trailhead via public transportation, you can take the Green Mountain Transit bus service from the Sugarbush Resort area. Board the bus heading towards Waitsfield. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop in Waitsfield. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to the trailhead. Head south on Route 100 and then turn onto Harris Hill Road. The trailhead will be on your left at 485 Harris Hill #539. Ensure to check the bus schedule for operating hours and potential costs, which typically range around $1.50 to $3.00 per ride.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike at Sugarbush Resort. Start on Sugarbush Access Road and head south. Turn left onto Route 100 South and bike for about 6 miles until you reach Waitsfield. Look for Harris Hill Road on your right. Turn onto Harris Hill Road and bike for approximately 1 mile until you reach the trailhead at 485 Harris Hill #539. Be cautious of traffic on Route 100 and wear a helmet for safety. Note that there are no biking fees at the trailhead.
