Car
If you are driving from any location within Sugarbush Resort, start by heading southeast on Sugarbush Access Road (Route 100). Continue on Route 100 for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 17. Turn left onto Route 17 East and follow this road for approximately 2 miles. You will see signs for Slide Brook 1. The destination will be located at coordinates 532V+45, Warren, VT 05674, which is on your right side. Ensure your GPS is set to the exact address for the best navigation.
Public Transportation
To reach Slide Brook 1 using public transportation, start at the Sugarbush Resort shuttle stop. Check the local bus schedule for the Mad Bus, which services the area. Take the Mad Bus towards Waitsfield and get off at the Route 100/Route 17 intersection. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles east along Route 17. Keep an eye out for signage indicating Slide Brook 1, as it will be on your left. Note that the Mad Bus may have a fare, so be prepared with the necessary cash or card.
Biking
For those looking to bike to Slide Brook 1, start from the Sugarbush Resort area and take the Sugarbush Access Road (Route 100) southbound. After about 3 miles, turn left onto Route 17 East. The route is scenic but be cautious of traffic. Slide Brook 1 will be about 2 miles down Route 17, located at 532V+45, Warren, VT 05674. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water, as it can be a strenuous ride.
