From the center of Upper Valley, head south on Route 5. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach Windsor, VT. Once in Windsor, turn left onto Back Mountain Road. Continue on Back Mountain Road for approximately 2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Mt Ascutney State Park on your left at 1826 Back Mountain Rd, Windsor, VT 05089. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the nearest transit station in Upper Valley to Windsor. Depending on the bus line, you may need to transfer at the main bus terminal. Check the local bus schedules for exact routes and times. Once you arrive in Windsor, you may need to use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Mt Ascutney State Park, as it is about 2 miles from the bus stop. Bicycle
