Car
If you're driving, head towards Salisbury, VT. From the center of Washington County, take Route 7 South. After about 15 miles, merge onto Route 73 East towards Middlebury. Continue on Route 73 for approximately 7 miles until you reach Lake Dunmore Road. Turn right onto Lake Dunmore Road and continue for about 3 miles. Branbury State Park will be on your left at 3570 Lake Dunmore Rd, Salisbury, VT 05769. Parking is available at the park entrance, and there is typically no fee for entry.
Public Transportation and Car
To reach Branbury State Park using public transportation, you can take a bus to Middlebury. Check the local bus schedules for service to Middlebury from your location in Washington County. Once at Middlebury, you may need to hire a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park, as public transit may not be available directly to Branbury State Park. The distance from Middlebury to the park is approximately 10 miles. If using a taxi, expect to pay around $20-30 for the ride.
