To reach Chimney Point Historic Museum by car, start from the center of Montpelier, Vermont. Get on I-89 S from State St and Main St. Follow I-89 S to US-302 E in Barre. Take exit 6 from I-89 S and merge onto US-302 E. Continue on US-302 E and take the exit for VT-125 W toward Middlebury. Stay on VT-125 W until you reach the intersection with VT-17. Turn right onto VT-17 W and follow it for about 10 miles until you reach the museum at 8149 VT-17, Addison, VT 05491. Parking is available on-site, and it is free of charge.
