Car
From Montpelier (the capital of Vermont), take I-89 S towards White River Junction. Merge onto VT-2 W at exit 8. Follow VT-2 W until you reach the junction with US-7 S. Turn right onto US-7 S and continue for about 14 miles. Take a left onto VT-73 E, continue for about 2 miles, and then turn right onto Mt Philo Rd. The park entrance will be on your left at 5425 Mt Philo Rd, Charlotte, VT 05445. Note that there is a $4 per adult entry fee for all-day access.
Public Transportation
If using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Montpelier to Burlington. Once you arrive at the Burlington bus station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Mt. Philo State Park. The distance from Burlington to the park is approximately 15 miles, and this ride will typically cost between $25-$35. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the most current departure times.
