Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Montpelier, the capital of Vermont. Take I-89 South and merge onto I-91 South. Continue on I-91 South until you reach the junction with I-93 South. Take I-93 South towards Concord. From there, take I-89 South towards Lebanon and follow signs for US-4 East. Stay on US-4 East until you reach the junction with I-89 South again. Follow I-89 South, then take exit 1 for US-2 East towards Montpelier. Follow US-2 East until you reach your destination. Note that parking may be limited, so it's advisable to arrive early.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, start by taking a Green Mountain Transit bus from Montpelier to Burlington. From Burlington, transfer to a bus heading towards Keedysville, MD. This may require a transfer in another city, such as Waterbury. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary. Once you arrive in Keedysville, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Old Vermont Brigade site. It’s advisable to use a mapping app to guide you along the route.
