Getting There

Walking
From the center of Woodstock, start at the Woodstock Green. Head south on Elm Street. After about 0.2 miles, turn right onto the Mill Road. Continue on Mill Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Quechee Road. Turn left onto Quechee Road and follow it for approximately 0.4 miles. Look for the signs for Mt. Tom Trailhead on your right. Walk up the trail to reach the summit.

From the Woodstock Green, rent a bike from a local rental shop. Start biking south on Elm Street, then take a right onto Mill Road. Continue for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Quechee Road. After about 0.4 miles, look for the Mt. Tom Trailhead on your right. Lock your bike at the trailhead and proceed on foot up the trail to the summit.
