Start at the Woodstock Village Green, located at 4 Elm St, Woodstock, VT. Head southeast on Elm St towards the intersection with Central St. Continue straight until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto US-4 E (East Woodstock Rd) and follow it for about 1 mile. As you approach the junction with Taftsville Bridge Rd, look for the sign indicating Taftsville Covered Bridge. Turn left onto Taftsville Bridge Rd and walk down the road until you see the bridge on your right. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.

Begin at the Woodstock Village Green and rent a bike from a local shop if you haven't already. Head southeast on Elm St and take a left onto Central St. Keep straight until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto US-4 E (East Woodstock Rd) and continue for about 1 mile. When you see the sign for Taftsville Bridge Rd, turn left. The bridge is about a half mile down the road on your right. Biking should take roughly 10-15 minutes.

From the Woodstock Village, head to the nearest bus stop located at the Woodstock Inn. Take the Green Mountain Transportation bus service towards Taftsville. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited. Get off at the stop closest to Taftsville Bridge Rd, and from there, it's a short walk down the road to the bridge. The entire journey may take about 30-45 minutes, depending on bus timings.
