From the center of Woodstock, head northwest on Elm St toward Central St. Continue onto Woodstock Road (VT-4) for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for a sign for Mt. Peg on your right. Turn onto the access road and follow it to the parking area at the trailhead. There is no fee for parking.

For those using public transportation, take the bus to Woodstock. The nearest bus service is the Advance Transit system. Once you arrive at the Woodstock bus stop, you can walk to the trailhead. Head north on Elm St, then turn right onto Woodstock Road (VT-4). It is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop to the trailhead of Mt. Peg. Remember to check the bus schedule for return trips.
