Travel Guide to Cam Nam Island

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Da Lat or any location in the Central Highlands, take National Route 20 south towards Ho Chi Minh City. From there, merge onto National Route 1A and continue south until you reach the city of Hội An. Once in Hội An, follow the signs to the Old Town area. When you reach the Old Town, look for Nguyễn Tri Phương street; Cam Nam Island is located at 35-27 Nguyễn Tri Phương. You can park your car in designated parking areas nearby.

• Bus

  To reach Cam Nam Island by bus, first take a bus from your location in Central Highlands to Hội An. Buses from cities like Buôn Ma Thuột or Đà Lạt to Hội An typically take around 8-10 hours, costing approximately 200,000 to 400,000 VND per ticket. Once you arrive at the Hội An bus station, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to the Old Town. The taxi ride will cost around 50,000 VND, while the local bus is cheaper at around 20,000 VND. Once in the Old Town, head to Nguyễn Tri Phương street, where Cam Nam Island is located.

• Motorbike

  For the adventurous spirit, renting a motorbike in Hội An is a great way to explore. After arriving in Hội An via bus or car, you can rent a motorbike for about 100,000 VND per day. From the center of Hội An, navigate to Nguyễn Tri Phương street. Cam Nam Island is a short ride away. Be sure to follow local traffic rules and wear a helmet.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer a more eco-friendly option, consider renting a bicycle. Many shops in Hội An offer bike rentals for around 30,000 VND per day. From the Old Town, cycle to Nguyễn Tri Phương street, which leads you directly to Cam Nam Island. It's a pleasant ride across the scenic landscape.
