Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, navigate to 104 Thái Phiên, Phường Minh An, Hội An using a GPS or map application. There is limited parking in Hoi An Ancient Town, so it's advisable to park at a designated parking area outside the town's core, such as the Hoi An Ancient Town Parking Lot on Nguyễn Thái Học Street. From there, it's a short 10-15 minute walk to Ancient House. Follow the signs to the town center and head towards the covered bridge, then take a left on Thái Phiên Street.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you are taking a bus, arrive at the main bus station in Hoi An. From the bus station, you can take a taxi or a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to Ancient House. The ride should take about 10 minutes. Provide the driver with the address: 104 Thái Phiên, Phường Minh An. Alternatively, you can walk to the Ancient Town entrance (approximately 20 minutes) and enter through the main gate. Once in the Old Town, follow the signs to Ancient House.

• Walking

  Assuming you are already in Hoi An Ancient Town, if you're near the Japanese Covered Bridge, head east along Trần Phú Street. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Thái Phiên Street. Continue straight for about 200 meters, and you will find Ancient House on your right at 104 Thái Phiên. This walk takes around 10 minutes and is very scenic, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful architecture and atmosphere of Hoi An.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Hoi An Ancient Town. Ride towards the Old Town entrance, then follow the same route as walking by cycling along Trần Phú Street and turning onto Thái Phiên Street. It should take about 10 minutes to reach Ancient House. Rental costs generally range from 20,000 to 50,000 VND per day.
