Getting there

Walking

If you are in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town, you can easily reach Thu Bồn River on foot. Start at the famous Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa cầu), which is a central landmark. From there, head south on Trần Phú Street for about 300 meters. At the intersection with Huỳnh Phúc Khánh Street, turn left. Continue walking for another 200 meters until you reach the banks of Thu Bồn River. The scenic views along the way are worth the stroll.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Hoi An Ancient Town. After renting your bike, head towards the Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa cầu). From there, cycle south along Trần Phú Street for approximately 300 meters, then turn left onto Huỳnh Phúc Khánh Street. Continue cycling until you reach the river, which is about 200 meters further. Biking is a great way to enjoy the picturesque streets of Hoi An.

Taxi

For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi to Thu Bồn River. You can easily find taxis around Hoi An Ancient Town. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Huỳnh Phúc Khánh, Cầu 18 Tháng 8, Phường Minh An'. The drive will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxi fares in Hoi An are generally reasonable, with a typical ride costing around 50,000 to 70,000 VND.

Motorbike Taxi (Xe ôm)

If you're looking for a quick and affordable way to get to Thu Bồn River, consider taking a motorbike taxi (xe ôm). These can be found throughout Hoi An, especially near popular tourist spots.
