Travel Guide to Museum of Trade Ceramics

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Old Town area of Hoi An, the Museum of Trade Ceramics is easily accessible on foot. Start at the famous Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa cầu), which is a well-known landmark. From the bridge, head east on Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai Street for about 200 meters. Turn right onto Trần Phú Street and continue walking for another 300 meters. The museum is located at 80 Trần Phú, just before you reach the intersection with Lê Lợi Street. It will be on your left side.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to rent a bicycle, you can easily find a rental shop in the Old Town. Start from your rental shop and head towards the Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa cầu). Ride east on Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai Street for about 200 meters. Turn right onto Trần Phú Street. Continue cycling for approximately 300 meters. The Museum of Trade Ceramics will be on your left at 80 Trần Phú, just before the intersection with Lê Lợi Street.

• Cyclo

  To experience a traditional cyclo ride, you can hire one from various locations in the Old Town. Tell the driver to take you to the Museum of Trade Ceramics at 80 Trần Phú. A common route would be to start from the Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa cầu), where your driver can easily navigate to Trần Phú Street. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Motorbike Taxi (Xe ôm)

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi (xe ôm). Just find a xe ôm driver in the Old Town and request a ride to the Museum of Trade Ceramics at 80 Trần Phú. The driver will take you directly to the museum, which is very close to other attractions in the area. Make sure to agree on the fare before you start your journey.
