If you are in the Hoi An Ancient Town area, start at the Japanese Covered Bridge, which is a well-known landmark. From the bridge, head east on Trần Phú Street. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach Nguyễn Thái Học Street. Turn left onto Nguyễn Thái Học Street and walk for another 150 meters. The Old House of Tan Ky will be on your right at 101 Nguyễn Thái Học.

Rent a bicycle from any local shop in Hoi An. From the center of Hoi An, cycle towards Trần Phú Street and turn right. Continue cycling straight for about 300 meters until you reach Nguyễn Thái Học Street. Turn left and cycle for about 150 meters. The Old House of Tan Ky will be on your right at 101 Nguyễn Thái Học. Parking for bicycles is available nearby.

Find a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) at any of the popular spots in Hoi An, such as near the Central Market. Tell the driver you’d like to go to the Old House of Tan Ky at 101 Nguyễn Thái Học. The ride shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey.

If you are staying further out from the Ancient Town, you can take a local bus to the town center. Look for buses heading to Hoi An Ancient Town and get off at the last stop. From there, walk towards the Japanese Covered Bridge. Then follow the walking directions provided above. It’s approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the Old House of Tan Ky.
