Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Hue, head to the Hue Central Bus Station. You can take a taxi or a local motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to get there. Once at the bus station, look for buses heading towards Phú Lộc. Buses to Phú Lộc are frequent, and you can ask the attendant for the one that stops nearest to Bồ Ghè waterfall. The ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Bồ Ghè waterfall.

• Motorbike Rental

  If you're comfortable riding a motorbike, rent one from a local rental shop in Hue. From the city center, head south on National Route 1A (QL1A). After about 12 kilometers, take a right onto Road 14B. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Bồ Ghè waterfall. The waterfall is located along an unnamed road that branches off from Road 14B.

• Bicycle Rental

  For an adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Hue. Start by heading out of the city towards the south. Follow the same route as for the motorbike, taking National Route 1A (QL1A) towards Phú Lộc. You’ll be cycling about 27 kilometers, so it's recommended to start early in the day. After reaching Road 14B, follow the directions as previously mentioned to get to Bồ Ghè waterfall. Ensure you carry plenty of water and snacks for the ride.
